Our own curriculum for each grade. Nothing comes before the idea it depends on, so nothing has to be memorized without being understood. It goes beyond the basic grade-level sequence, with more time for reasoning, connections and problem solving.
Weeks 1 to 12
We go under the arithmetic your child already does and show them the structure beneath it. This is the groundwork that makes algebra feel obvious rather than arbitrary.
Weeks 13 to 24
The moment a student meets the letter x, and often decides how they feel about math. We introduce it early, slowly, and with enough practice that it never becomes the thing they dread.

We built AcademyMinds because doing well in school shouldn't be the finish line, and struggling shouldn't be the first time anyone notices.
It started with a pattern we kept seeing: bright kids doing fine in math class, with no real foundation underneath. Fine is not the same as ready. And a child who has decided they are bad at math may simply be missing one earlier idea that nobody went back for.

Neither, usually. We teach for depth, so a child who finds school easy is stretched and a child with gaps gets them filled. The free assessment and the free class show where your child fits before you pay anything.
Doing well is not always the same as being challenged enough to grow. The assessment includes a stretch level and questions from a year or two ahead, which shows how far they can really go.
They may not hate math so much as feeling lost in it. Groups are small, so the instructor notices early when something is not clicking, and every child is measured only against their own starting point, never against classmates.
